Kayne Anderson Real Estate is seeking a Vice President/Director of Asset Management for Student Housing and Multifamily. This role oversees a diversified portfolio, including stabilized assets and development projects, reporting to the Senior Managing Director and Managing Director of Asset Management.

The successful candidate will lead financial analysis, manage operating partners, travel to properties about 2 days per week, and collaborate with underwriting and acquisitions to maximize

• 15+ years of relevant real estate experience, including 10+ years in multifamily or student housing asset management.
• Strong operational and leadership skills with hands-on involvement.
• Experience with operating platforms, partners, and third-party contracts.
• Strategic perspective with execution capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and report financial and operating performance against business plans and original underwriting.
• Travel to portfolio properties ~2 days per week to assess condition and performance.
• Manage operating partner relationships and represent Kayne Anderson Real Estate in the market.
• Update revenue, expense, and strategy in real-time to maximize property performance.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary processes (legal, accounting, construction, capital markets) to execute the business plan.
• Support underwriting and acquisition teams in evaluating potential investments.
• Engage in property branding, leasing strategy, and management of marketing firms.
