Kayne Anderson Real Estate in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Asset Management Associate with strong financial analysis and reporting skills to oversee a portfolio of Multifamily and Student Housing assets.

You will monitor asset performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate across teams to drive value and ensure proper asset management. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in asset management or FP&A within multifamily or student housing and solid Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of asset management, FP&A, or portfolio analysis in multifamily or student housing.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or equivalent.
• Strong financial, analytical, and Excel skills; experience with asset management platforms helpful.

Responsabilités

• Support Asset Management platform through oversight, analysis, and business plan execution for Multifamily & Student Housing.
• Analyze leasing, occupancy, and trend data; follow up on prior period activity.
• Prepare quarterly updates on financial and operational performance; explain variances.
• Coordinate with partners and property management to maintain assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with departments; report property-level data to investors, lenders, and partners.
• Communicate analyses to Kayne Anderson Real Estate stakeholders for strategic decisions.
• Participate in annual operating and capital expenditure budgeting; evaluate CAPEX requests.
• Assist in preparing and presenting annual business plans.
• Assist in transitioning properties from Acquisitions to Asset Management.
• Review leasing strategies by assessing market trends and rentals.
• Review monthly P&L and operating reports.
• Provide reporting and analytical support to senior management.
• Ad-hoc duties as required.
