Job summary

JPMorganChase in New Jersey seeks a Vice President to lead Data Management Strategy within the Firmwide Chief Data Office. You will define a comprehensive data strategy to unlock value from data by making it AI-ready, leading initiatives across standards, operating models, products, governance, and data publishing.

You will partner with senior leaders to communicate strategy through executive-ready materials and drive governance, culture, and execution across critical data initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least five years of industry experience with a data, analytics, or product background.
• Experience in strategy and problem solving in consulting, tech, banking, or internal strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems with quantitative and conceptual approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management and organizational skills under pressure.
• Interpersonal leadership and influencing abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related fields; familiarity with AI/data management.

Responsibilities

• Define the Chief Data Office vision and target-state strategy with actionable business plans.
• Establish scope and prioritization of data management initiatives.
• Apply structured problem solving and design thinking to top priorities.
• Collect, synthesize, analyze, and present project data and findings.
• Conduct analyses to identify issues and formulate recommendations.
• Develop strategic presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Perform competitor and industry research using public and internal sources.
• Monitor industry trends and share reports with senior stakeholders and the broader team.
• Coach and manage junior team members.
