Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a seasoned Data Center Sourcing and Costs VP to lead all data center services sourcing, cost management, and contracts for large-scale builds. You will oversee a cross-functional team, negotiate complex agreements, and drive cost optimization across multiple categories including architects-engineers, contractors, and technology services.

The role oversees a multi-billion spend, requires 15% travel, and reports into the Strategic Partnerships and Development leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, economics, finance, construction management, legal studies including Contract Law or Business Law, and/or Supply Chain.
• 10+ years in dynamic sourcing leadership, preferably with global or multi-regional oversight.
• 7+ years of data center experience or mission critical, fast-paced infrastructure projects.
• 10+ years of commercial/transactional contracts management experience including drafting and negotiation.
• Expertise in insourcing through contracting, cost management and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing network services, evaluating commercial terms, and negotiating agreements.
• Drive RFx processes and standardization for in-system sourcing.
• Develop scopes of work for network and DC services with design, engineering, and construction teams.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and execute contracts with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
