Job summary

QTS is seeking a Vice President of Development (Data Center Construction) in Irving, TX, to drive the full lifecycle of large-scale data center projects from concept to completion. You will establish budgets, oversee design and construction, and lead acquisition, permitting and onboarding of teams across functions.

The role requires deep knowledge of commercial real estate, rapid development, and strong leadership to maximize investment returns while partnering with Finance, Sales and Operations

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of experience within mission critical facilities.
• Experience in REIT/Data Center industry.
• Extensive experience with management of MEP trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of the regions within the QTS footprint and drive strategic direction.
• Oversee site selection, design, permitting and construction administration.
• Coordinate with Finance, Product Sales and Operations to maximize investment opportunities.
• Provide leadership to project teams and ensure timely delivery, cost control and quality standards.
