QTS Data Centers is seeking a Vice President of Development (Data Center Construction) to drive large-scale projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment. You will set strategic direction, oversee budgets and milestones, and lead cross-functional teams through acquisition, permitting, design, and construction processes.

The role requires deep REIT/data center experience, strong leadership, and a track record of timely delivery and cost control across hyperscale deployments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Ten+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities.
• Experience in the REIT/Data Center industry.
• Extensive experience managing MEP trades.
• Proven leadership, engineering knowledge, and delivery track record.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership for development regions and drive site evaluations.
• Oversee budgets, schedules and capital plans for data center projects.
• Lead design, permitting, and construction teams to deliver on time and budget.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance for cohesive development strategy.
• Represent QTS in executive and stakeholder meetings and pursue profitable deals.
