Job summary

IDC's CIO organization is shifting to a pre-cleared, guardrail-based model so that AI pilots and new technology can ship rapidly. The VP, Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance serves as Deputy CISO, leading security strategy, architecture, and operations while removing friction that slows delivery.

The role owns IAM, zero-trust, and secure engineering, drives SOC and incident response, and leads risk, audits, and regulatory programs for a global organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience acting as a deputy or right hand to a CISO.
• Proven track record securing SaaS, cloud, and AI/LLM platforms.
• Experience building risk registers, risk quantification, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise security strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Lead AI platform security, governance, and guardrails.
• Manage enterprise risk, audits, and regulatory programs.
• Build and lead a global cybersecurity, risk, and compliance team.
