Job summary

First Command Bank seeks a strategic VP, Credit Risk Manager to lead the independent credit risk function across consumer and commercial lending, establishing a comprehensive risk framework that supports safe growth and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Lending, Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Executive Leadership to identify, measure, monitor, and mitigate credit risk; you will present risk insights to executive committees and the Board and drive governance, dashboards, and

Qualifications

7–10 years of progressive experience in credit risk management, credit administration, or related banking functions.
3–5 years of management experience preferred.
Experience overseeing both consumer and commercial lending risk portfolios strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of CECL, credit risk analytics, portfolio management, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the Bank's enterprise credit risk management framework.
Monitor and assess credit risk across consumer and commercial portfolios.
Present portfolio performance, risk metrics, and insights to executive management and Board committees.
Lead design and maintenance of credit risk dashboards and management reporting.
Support CECL methodology and capital planning processes.
