Job summary

Hw3 Llc partners with a global financial institution to recruit a Vice President who will lead credit portfolio risk reporting and oversight. You will analyze wholesale credit portfolio trends and translate complex risk data into clear, decision-oriented materials for the Board, Risk Committee, senior management, and regulators.

The role focuses on developing executive narratives and visuals, supporting regulatory requests, and mentoring the team to establish strong standards for risk

Qualifications

• 8+ years of financial services experience with wholesale credit risk knowledge.
• Experience presenting findings to senior management, Board committees, or regulators.
• Strong understanding of credit risk ratings, underwriting, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle.
• Expert PowerPoint skills for Board-quality presentations and executive narratives.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI or similar visualization experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; CFA/FRM or advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of executive presentations, committee materials, and regulatory briefings from initial analysis through final delivery.
• Analyze portfolio performance, concentrations, risk drivers, and emerging risks to identify the issues senior leaders need to understand.
• Build clear narratives and visualizations that explain changes in the credit risk profile and their implications.
• Partner with Credit Officers, business units, data teams, and senior risk leaders to develop accurate and relevant reporting.
• Manage the reporting calendar and support portfolio deep dives, regulatory requests, and reporting enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members and help establish standards for executive risk communications.
