Job summary

Chase Card Services seeks a Vice President for Card Portfolio Risk Strategy to lead risk strategies within the Card Credit Decisioning Unit. You will influence risk appetite, engage with product GMs, and partner with Credit Risk to balance growth with controls.

Ideal candidates bring senior analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, and a track record of collaborating across risk, underwriting, legal, and finance teams to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• In-depth credit risk management experience in a large financial services firm.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative finance skills with strategic impact.
• Proven ability to collaborate across product, risk, finance and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Define the Credit Box in partnership with Product GM’s, Finance and the second line of defense Credit Risk team
• Partner with product and risk teams to assess expansion opportunities and define execution plans
• Set up reviews to ensure credit assumptions are executed well
• Define variables for new credit models and coordinate with the modeling team
• Recruit and develop talent to staff the CDU
• Develop metrics and lead performance reporting to senior leadership
• Contribute to policy and strategy development for credit risk frameworks
• Maintain a strong regulatory and controls environment
• Collaborate across risk, underwriting, legal, and finance to balance growth and risk
