Qualifications

• 7+ years of Asset Management/Alternative Investment/Hedge Fund or Private Equity experience from a national CPA firm OR background in Private Equity Fund Accounting, Fund Finance, or related alternative investment accounting functions.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee a team responsible for private equity fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment-related analysis.
• Review and analyze complex fund structures, distribution waterfalls, carried interest calculations, and investment performance metrics.
• Partner directly with the CFO, Controller, and investment professionals to deliver meaningful financial insights that influence strategic decision-making.
• Present financial results, fund performance, and key investment metrics to senior leadership and front-office stakeholders.
• Oversee fund-level reporting, capital activity, and financial analysis across a diversified private equity portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to implement AI-driven tools, automation, and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
• Manage, mentor, and develop accounting professionals while maintaining oversight of financial reporting deliverables.
• Serve as a strategic finance partner within a lean team, taking ownership of responsibilities extending beyond traditional fund accounting.
