Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for subscription finance fund transactions including detailed analysis of terms and conditions, structures, borrowing bases, investor compositions, creditworthiness, and credit ratings
• Exercise credit approval authority over the multi-billion dollar SFF portfolio
• Provide independent credit decisions and recommendations aligned with risk appetite and financial sponsor strategy
• Lead due diligence efforts to evaluate risks and mitigate potential issues
• Coordinate with legal teams, offshore exposure counterparties, and other key stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to protect the institution's interests across the fund finance portfolio
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including deal sponsors, lenders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and successful transaction outcomes
• Prepare detailed risk reports, presentations, and credit views for senior management and Risk Management Committee
• Stay current on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to inform risk assessment and decision-making processes
• Identify, implement, and support streamlining and simplification initiatives across the credit risk function both locally and globally
