Job summary

First Internet Bank of Indiana in Fishers, IN seeks a Vice President, Credit Administration to independently evaluate and approve commercial credit relationships while upholding credit policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.

You will lead CRE and other complex lending oversight, mentor underwriting teams, ensure sound transaction structure, and promote consistent risk management across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years commercial credit underwriting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• Strong credit decision skills and knowledge of banking regulation and loan policy.
• Experience evaluating Commercial Real Estate loans or complex commercial transactions preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with banking professionals.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and approve commercial credit requests within authority.
• Provide senior-level credit oversight for CRE and other complex lending relationships.
• Structure sound credit solutions with lenders to support growth while managing risk.
• Ensure consistent application of credit policy, underwriting standards, and risk rating methodology.
• Monitor credit quality trends and regulatory expectations; advise on risk mitigation.
