Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• 7+ years financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
• 7+ years experience underwriting corporate loan transactions.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with financial statements and Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience proposing and negotiating credit and covenant structures.
• Comfortable with customer contact and escalations.
• Strong judgment and credit skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, structure, service and document new and renewal credits.
• Lead underwriting work with bankers to prepare credit approval memos.
• Analyze financial statements and monitor portfolio performance.
• Assist in loan structuring, pricing and risk management.
• Support relationship managers on credit structures and documentation.
