Santander is seeking a VP, Underwriting & Portfolio Manager for the United States. You will provide expertise in underwriting, structuring, servicing and documenting new and renewal credits, and lead credit approvals with risk-based recommendations.

Qualifications

7+ years financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
7+ years experience underwriting corporate loan transactions.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead underwriter in collaboration with bankers for credit approvals and memos.
Structure deals and negotiate credit and covenant terms.
Report on loans: past dues, documentation and collateral status.
