Job summary

Chimes is seeking a VP & Corporate Controller to build scalable accounting processes and strengthen the balance sheet and control environment. The role supports growth, acquisitions and Finance transformation with modern technology and actionable financial information.

Responsibilities include leading monthly, quarterly and annual close, ownership of the GL and intercompany accounting, and driving a disciplined control environment.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge and strong accounting policies.
• Experience leading monthly, quarterly and annual closes and consolidations.
• Ability to manage intercompany accounting, eliminations and reconciliations.
• Proven leadership in building scalable accounting teams and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close and consolidate financial reporting across entities.
• Own the general ledger, intercompany accounting, eliminations, accruals and allocations.
• Oversee AP, client accounting and core accounting operations with defined SLAs.
• Own external audit, PBC processes and control framework maintenance.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle for accurate revenue recognition and cash application.
