Chimes International Limited in Baltimore is seeking a VP & Corporate Controller to build scalable accounting processes, strengthen the balance sheet and control environment, and enable growth, acquisitions and Finance transformation.

You will lead monthly closes, consolidate across entities, own the general ledger and drive reconciliations, controls and policy compliance to deliver timely, accurate financial information for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close and consolidated financial reporting across all entities. Own the general ledger, intercompany accounting and eliminations, accruals, allocations and other core accounting processes.
• Establish risk-based balance-sheet reconciliation standards and ensure significant balances are investigated and resolved.
• Provide leadership over AP, client accounting and other core accounting operations with defined SLAs and controls.
• Oversee external audit and accounting policy, maintain the financial control framework and remediate gaps in collaboration with auditors.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle to ensure complete and accurate revenue/AR recognition and cash application; document judgments.
• Lead Accounting workstream for acquisitions and post-close integration, including opening balance sheets and policy alignment.
• Define ERP and Finance system requirements, drive automation for efficiency and controls, and leverage AI where appropriate.
• Build a high-performing Accounting organization with clear roles and cross-functional partnership within Finance and the broader company.
