Job summary

Bally’s Chicago seeks a VP of Convention Sales to build the group business foundation for its landmark Chicago opening. You will shape the vision, strategy and pipeline before the first guest arrives, assembling and leading a high-impact team to win in corporate, association, medical, and citywide markets.

You will partner with industry intermediaries and tourism organizations to secure strategic opportunities and ensure a successful, high-profile launch for Bally’s Chicago’s $1.7B integrated

Qualifications

• Experience leading pre-opening sales for large hospitality properties.
• Proven track record in convention/group sales across multiple markets.
• Strong network with corporate, association, medical, and citywide buyers.

Responsibilities

• Lead full pre-opening sales strategy for group and convention business.
• Develop and mentor the sales team for rapid pipeline creation from day one.
• Drive revenue strategy and accelerate bookings across key markets.
• Cultivate partnerships with city tourism boards, DMCs, MPI, PCMA, and intermediaries.
• Oversee operations and compliance related to pre-opening activities.
