Travere Therapeutics is seeking a VP, Controller to lead the global accounting function. You will drive financial reporting, internal controls, and SOX compliance while partnering with executives and the board on critical accounting matters.

This role oversees consolidation, technical accounting, and ERP systems to support growth and transparency. You will mentor a high‑performing team, manage external auditors, and influence strategic initiatives such as licensing, collaborations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required
• CPA license with deep U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX knowledge
• 15–20 years in accounting/financial reporting with leadership
• 8–10 years leadership within a finance function
• Experience leading accounting/SEC reporting in a publicly traded biotech/pharma

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting organization including close, consolidation, and internal controls
• Oversee all SEC reporting activities and ensure compliance
• Lead technical accounting research and GAAP positions
• Monitor new accounting standards and implement pronouncements
• Oversee global accounting including foreign subsidiaries and intercompany transactions
• Support M&A, licensing, financing, and post‑acquisition integration
• Partner with Legal, Tax, FP&A, IT, HR, Supply Chain on governance
• Drive ERP optimization and automation for reporting quality
• Mentor and develop high‑performing accounting teams
