Job summary

Travere Therapeutics seeks an accomplished VP, Controller to lead global accounting, financial reporting, and controllership. You will shape the accounting strategy, ensure SOX compliance, and partner with executives and the Board on financial governance.

You will manage SEC reporting, ERP optimization, and finance transformation programs, driving accuracy, timeliness, and scalable processes for a rapidly growing biotech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline required.
• CPA license required with deep expertise in US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Minimum 15–20 years of progressive accounting/financial reporting with leadership.
• 8–10 years of leadership experience in a finance function.
• Experience leading accounting and SEC reporting in a publicly traded biotech/pharma company.
• Experience building and developing high-performing accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting organization, close, tax, internal controls, and financial systems.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements and SEC filings.
• Lead technical accounting research and US GAAP positions.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and implement changes.
• Oversee foreign subsidiaries’ accounting and reporting.
• Support M&A, licensing, financing, and post-acquisition activities.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Drive ERP optimization, automation, and data governance.
• Maintain SOX compliance and internal control framework.
• Interact with auditors and Board on accounting matters.
