Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a VP, Controller to lead the global accounting function from a remote-capable role based in San Diego. You will guide monthly closes, SEC reporting, internal controls, and the ERP roadmap while partnering with executive leadership and the Board.

The role requires a CPA, deep U.S. GAAP/SOX experience, and 15+ years in accounting with biotech/pharma leadership. Expect collaboration across Legal, Tax, FP&A, and IT to enable growth and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• CPA license with deep U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting and SOX expertise.
• 20+ years in accounting/financial reporting with leadership in public biotech/pharma.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting organization and monthly/quarterly close.
• Oversee SEC reporting and consolidation for global ops.
• Maintain SOX program and internal controls framework.
• Partner with CAO, CFO, and board on financial governance.
• Drive ERP optimization and finance transformation initiatives.
