Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a VP Control Manager within Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) to oversee ASI and AWM Control Programs, ensuring standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement of the control environment across acquisitions and strategic investments.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk and senior business leaders to manage the full lifecycle from NDA through integration, lead audit readiness, quarterly scorecards, and drive automation to enhance risk controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in financial services with controls, audit, quality assurance, or operational risk management.
• Independent risk-based decision making in complex situations; deep regulatory knowledge.
• Self-starter with organizational skills; proactive mindset and multi-priority management.
• Manages complex relationships across Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk; data-driven persuasion.
• Strong analytical thinking to synthesize data and identify root causes.
• Designs and executes change management strategies for complex initiatives.
• Ability to present to senior management and prepare executive communications.

Responsibilities

• Drive program enhancements to standardize, simplify, and strengthen the control environment; provide support to firmwide working groups and oversee audit preparation and action resolution.
• Lead ASI lifecycle activities; ensure proper risk assessments and due diligence; coordinate with integration leads while maintaining the firmwide control framework.
• Prepare and deliver Quarterly Scorecards and Integration Updates to committees and senior AWM leadership, with clear, actionable insights.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business units throughout the program lifecycle—engagement from initiation to completion.
• Leverage firmwide tools to solve complex control challenges; focus on automation and process optimization while fostering continuous improvement.
