Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Vice President to join our Compensation team. This role supports Asset & Wealth Management by partnering closely with the line of business Compensation Executive to drive compensation pool planning, analysis and budgeting and forecasting.

Success requires strong analytical and technical skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to communicate the data story to senior stakeholders, including executives.

Qualifications

  • Excellent technical skills with ability to leverage capabilities to improve processes.
  • Strong analytical and data / information management skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior management, including the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, within Asset & Wealth Management.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications. Advanced understanding of Excel is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Detail and results oriented, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities all within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Self-initiator with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and think outside of the box.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey a story through analysis and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Compensation Executive on reporting and analysis to help senior management make strategic business decisions and influence compensation tools.
  • Collaborate with LOB Finance Planning and Analysis Leaders on Economic Incentive Compensation Forecast and related reporting.
  • Work with HR partners across functions to understand business needs while providing recommendations to compensation leadership.
  • Propose and implement improvements to compensation programs, policies, and processes to align with strategy and controls.
