Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Compensation Vice President to drive compensation strategy and execution for select clients. You will act as a strategic advisor to the business and HR business partners, combining deep compensation knowledge with market analytics to shape programs and decisions.

In this role you will lead analyses, influence pay practices, and partner with HR to align programs with business needs, regulatory requirements, and overall firm goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in HR, compensation, or finance with strong analytics.
• Ability to advise business and HR on compensation strategies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data analyses.
• Strong consulting, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects and deliver senior-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support and advise on compensation activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention
• Develop understanding of business challenges; analyze issues, propose solutions
• Perform complex analyses and present findings to senior management
• Provide clear advice and recommendations to influence compensation decisions
• Align with HR business advisors to improve compensation programs and processes
• Continually assess market conditions and pay practices to ensure competitiveness
• Translate regulatory and policy governance into guidance for clients
• Participate in firm-wide projects involving compensation, including policy reviews, changes, and systems development
