Job summary

Radiant Credit Union in Gainesville, FL seeks a Vice President of Commercial Lending to lead the Business Services Department, originate and manage the credit union’s commercial loan portfolio. You will foster relationships, drive growth, and expand core deposits while ensuring policy compliance.

This senior leadership role requires directing a team, optimizing performance, and upholding regulatory standards to deliver exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of similar or related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree; equivalent experience considered.
• Proficiency with Core Banking Software, Loan Origination Systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises the Director of Commercial Lending, Director of Commercial Portfolio, and Director of Business Development. Takes applications for commercial loan business, reviews member financial condition and assesses the member's ability to re-pay the loan.
• Communicates and negotiates with members on product structure and pricing. Completes or directs completion of all loan documents and closes loans.
• Provides support to subordinates and completes evaluations in a timely manner.
• Participates in developing credit and deposit business for the credit union. Calls on members to expand existing business; calls on prospects seeking opportunities to expand the Credit Union's member base.
• Leads the business services team to increase commercial and relationships. Assists members with any loan-related questions and concerns.
• Services members by answering questions in a timely and complete manner. Conducts regular visits to members’ places of business to ensure member satisfaction.
