Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Lender to drive commercial loan production and expand depository relationships with existing and new members at our Westchase, Tampa, FL location. This fully on-site role emphasizes relationship management, financial solutions, and alignment with members’ business objectives.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in commercial lending, with proven success in portfolio management and business development.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial lending policy, depository services, credit union/banking operations.
• Solid financial analysis capabilities and understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Active involvement in community and industry organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial lending opportunities to support portfolio growth.
• Manage and deepen existing member relationships by cross-selling deposit products and other financial services.
• Monitor the loan portfolio for credit quality, including past-due credits and non-performing loans.
• Coordinate loan processing, closing, and compliance with regulators and LMCU policies.
