Job summary

Align Credit Union in Lowell, MA seeks a Vice President of Commercial Lending to lead the commercial lending function, drive business development, and manage key member relationships.

The role reports to the Chief Lending Officer, collaborates with risk, CUSO partners, and senior management to grow loan production while maintaining credit quality and regulatory compliance. The hybrid position requires 1–2 days on site weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressively responsible commercial lending and relationship management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commercial Lending Function with growth and performance objectives.
• Drive Commercial Business Development and expand loan and deposit relationships.
• Manage major commercial relationships and identify lending and financial-service opportunities.
• Lead loan structuring and pipeline management from discussion through closing.
