Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of commercial credit experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
Ability to collaborate across Commercial Lending, Risk Management, CUSO partners, and other areas of the Credit Union.
Strong knowledge of underwriting, financial statement and tax return analysis, cash flow, global cash flow, debt service coverage, and pro forma analysis.
Ability to independently underwrite commercial credit requests and critically review underwriting and recommendations prepared by third-party/CUSO partners.
Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

Manage annual review process for the commercial portfolio.
Perform financial reviews including cash flow, debt service, and collateral.
Review pro forma analyses and assess variances.
Monitor portfolio performance, delinquencies, and risk indicators.
Coordinate underwriting with Octant for requests over $50,000.
Underwrite loans under $50,000 and prepare credit recommendations.
Prepare risk reporting for senior management and other stakeholders.
Liaise between Commercial Lending and Risk Department to communicate portfolio risks.
