Qualifications

• 7+ years in business development or relationships role within financial institutions.
• BS in Finance or Accounting; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial banking, construction, real estate and consumer loans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to analyze financial statements and tax returns.
• Experience leading staff and finalizing complex loan agreements with legal counsel.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new commercial banking clients with focus on deposits, loans and fee income.
• Meet growth targets by developing and executing sales plans aligned with bank objectives.
• Develop outreach strategies, including events and referrals, to build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Manage all stages of the sales process from prospecting to onboarding new clients.
• Collaborate with Treasury Management, Credit and Loan Administration to deliver solutions.
• Represent the Bank at community events and sponsorships to grow visibility and opportunities.
