Job summary

CLS Group is seeking a Cyber & Network Security Engineer in New Jersey to lead deployment and automation of enterprise security platforms. You will design and operate AWS-based security environments, mentor junior engineers, and drive secure-by-design initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, security tooling integration, and collaboration with the CISO department to advance threat detection and data protection across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Security.
• Experience delivering large-scale security platforms end-to-end.
• Strong automation, telemetry, and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and maintain enterprise security platforms and services.
• Lead security tooling deployment and automation projects.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code capabilities for rapid deployment of security tooling.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Cyber Defense teams.
• Onboard log sources and develop Splunk detections and dashboards.
