Job summary

Netsmart is seeking a Vice President, Engineering — Cloud, DevOps & AI Modernization to lead software engineering teams through the next phase of modernization and scale. This senior leader will drive cloud transformation, DevOps maturity, and AI-enabled product evolution across global teams, including offshore partners in India.

The role requires building a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and technical excellence while partnering with Product, Architecture, Security, and Compliance

Qualifications

Senior engineering leadership experience at the VP/Sr. Director/Director level.
Strong background in software development and technical delivery.
Experience modernizing legacy platforms and driving cloud adoption.
Proficiency with AWS, distributed systems, APIs, security.
Ability to lead in a matrixed organization including India teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale engineering teams with accountability and delivery discipline.
Drive cloud and DevOps maturity across engineering groups (CI/CD, IaC).
Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and Compliance leaders.
Guide AI-aware product development and responsible AI adoption.
Foster ownership, transparency, and practical innovation across teams.
