Job summary

Netsmart is seeking a Lead Software Architect, Cloud & AI Modernization to guide architecture across post-acute healthcare solutions. This onsite role in Overland Park, KS requires hands-on leadership, cloud expertise, and a passion for modernizing and scaling AI-enabled capabilities.

You will partner with DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable software while driving modernization and best practices across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong software engineering foundation with architecture leadership experience.
• Experience modernizing legacy apps to cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, microservices, observability, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture strategy and technical design for Post-Acute applications and platforms.
• Work hands-on with engineering teams to evaluate current-state architecture and guide modernization.
• Support modernization through modular design, API-first approaches, and cloud migration patterns.
