Job summary

Chase Card Services in the United States seeks an Associate for the Card Portfolio Risk Strategy team. You will influence portfolio risk strategies within the Card Credit Decisioning Unit, manage exposure and risk appetite, and support product GMs in identifying trends and remediating risks.

You will partner with the Credit Risk organization in the second line of defense to strengthen the health of the business.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in finance, business administration, or related field.
2+ years of consumer lending or credit experience at a large financial services firm.
Strong quantitative and qualitative finance skills.
Strategic thinking with execution ability and initiative.
Experience presenting to executives and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the Credit Box in partnership with Portfolio Risk Strategy Lead, Product GMs, Finance and Risk teams.
Assess new expansion opportunities and execute approved plans.
Set up reviews to ensure adherence to credit assumptions.
Collaborate with risk strategies to define variables for new credit models and interface with modeling team.
Develop and implement metrics to track performance.
Maintain strong regulatory controls and risk governance.
Coordinate with risk, underwriting, legal, and finance to balance growth and risk.
