Job summary

Chase Card Services seeks a Sr. Associate on the Card Portfolio Risk Strategy team to influence risk strategies in a new 1st line credit function within CDU.

You will manage exposure and risk appetite and partner with Credit Risk to support GMs in identifying trends and remediating risks. The role requires analytical curiosity, experience with complex data, and a detail-oriented mindset, with collaboration across risk, underwriting, legal, and finance to balance growth and risk in a leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of direct-to-consumer lending, originations, or retail credit experience at a large financial services firm.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative finance and analytical skills.
• Experience presenting to executives and briefing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the Credit Box with Portfolio Risk Strategy Lead and stakeholders across business lines.
• Assess new expansion opportunities and execute approved plans.
• Set up reviews to ensure accuracy of credit assumptions.
• Define variables for new credit models and interface with the modeling team.
• Develop metrics to track performance and maintain controls.
• Ensure a strong regulatory and controls environment.
• Collaborate across risk, underwriting, legal, and finance to balance growth and risk.
