Job summary

Via Licensing Alliance, a subsidiary of Dolby, is looking for a Vice President, Business Development & Technology to lead strategic growth initiatives and expand its patent pool opportunities, particularly in semiconductors and AI.

The role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to engage with technology leaders while shaping a new generation of licensing programs that drive innovation globally. This position will be located in the San Francisco office on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in business development, licensing, or technology strategy.
• Deep familiarity with intellectual property and patent pools.
• Strong technical understanding of semiconductor technologies, AI, or data center architecture.
