Work Location: Remote (with expected travel to NY minimum 1x quarter)

About the role:

We’re seeking a dynamic, proactive and strategic VP, New Business to support our ambitious new business efforts. This is a pivotal role for an experienced sales and business development leader with a proven track record in securing long-term partnerships and delivering sustained revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive network, expertise, and leadership skills to identify new business targets and expand our already impressive client portfolio.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy
  • Focus on securing high-value multi-year AOR partnerships
  • Successfully navigate complex procurement processes, developing tailored strategies to address individual client needs
  • Drive the entire sales process, from identifying prospects and delivering compelling pitches to successfully closing deals.
  • Develop and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth and accurate forecasting.
  • Partner with internal teams across strategy, creative, measurement, and operations to align on business goals and deliver seamless client experiences.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • 10+ years of proven experience in sales, procurement, and business development within the advertising, media, or marketing industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure $5M+ AOR deals and exceed ambitious revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of creator marketing, social media advertising, and influencer partnerships.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proven expertise in navigating procurement processes and building procurement-friendly strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and pipeline management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation.
  • A strategic thinker who is able to see the big picture and use data effectively to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communicator and active listener. A natural storyteller who is able to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility to travel to our NY headquarters once per quarter and to clients as needed.
