Job summary

Colossus Technologies Group is seeking a Vice President – AI Risk & Technology Risk in New York City to help shape the firm's approach to AI risk, governance, cybersecurity, and emerging technology risk. You will work with executive leadership and security teams to evaluate AI technologies and establish governance frameworks for secure adoption.

This position extends to broader technology risk, security engineering, architecture, and detection capabilities, requiring influence across governance

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AI risk, governance, and security across large organizations.
• Experience evaluating AI platforms with governance and enterprise risk focus.
• Track record building or maturing governance frameworks, policies, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Build and mature AI risk and governance programs with frameworks, policies, and controls.
• Evaluate AI platforms, models, tools, and emerging tech from risk perspectives.
• Partner with executives to establish governance around AI adoption.
• Identify risks from new AI capabilities and translate findings for leadership.
• Develop processes to monitor and manage AI-related risks enterprise-wide.
• Support broader technology and cybersecurity risk initiatives and security programs.
• Present updates to executive leadership and governance committees.
• Stay current on AI security, governance, and evolving standards.
