Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, NJ, seeks a Technology Lead for Data & Digital to drive AI-enabled data initiatives and partner across engineering, design, and IT. You will shape architecture, apply AI/ML, and steer end-to-end delivery with an emphasis on operational excellence in financial services.

Qualifications include 6–10 years in technology leadership and hands-on Python/Java, plus DevOps and AI/ML frameworks familiarity.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in technology leadership, Python development, project/program management, and delivery management
• Understanding of AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation technologies with ability to identify practical use cases in financial services
• Strong technical background across SDLC functions with hands-on experience in modern technologies (Python, Java, React, Angular, Postgres, MongoDB, Oracle)
• Expertise in DevOps practices, knowledge of Robotic Process Automation, and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to articulate AI value propositions to both technical and business audiences

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, using AI to enhance data and digital initiatives
• Lead design and architecture of applications with AI/ML to enhance scalability and automation
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions including RPA, intelligent data processing, and predictive analytics
• Manage end-to-end project delivery: scoping, estimation, planning, resource management, and quality
• Drive operational excellence using AI-powered analytics to reduce costs
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to identify opportunities for AI integration
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, stakeholder management
• Lead and mentor technical teams on emerging AI technologies
