Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in the United States seeks a visionary VP of Engineering, Business AI Applications to lead the integration of AI/ML across CPQ and NPI ecosystems, focusing on the Opportunity-to-Quote lifecycle. This executive will set technical direction, drive scalable AI software, and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions that accelerate growth and efficiency.

You will guide a global team of AI, full‑stack, and SaaS engineers, ensuring governance, cost efficiency, and robust performance

Qualifications

Exceptional people management with executive presence.
Strong enterprise communication skills, business acumen, and financial understanding.
Proven thought leadership (technical articles, conference talks, or open-source contributions).
Extensive experience with Business applications, particularly the Opportunity to Quote lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Define multi-year AI integration strategy and architecture roadmap for the Business App stack.
Architect standards for advanced AI customer solutions and prove viability through PoCs.
Lead Go-To-Market Engineering to scale pipeline generation and seller productivity with AI and data-driven execution.
Build and mentor a global, cross-disciplinary team of AI solutions, full-stack, and SaaS developers.
Drive strategic, large-scale initiatives across multiple organizations and regions.
Foster AI governance and an operational culture for continuous AI evolution.
Monitor and optimize performance, cost-efficiency, and health of deployed AI models.
