Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York is seeking a senior UX Creative Technologist to lead the creation of an AI‑native design system at the center of employee experience. This VP role blends design craft with code, shaping how design becomes shipped product across a large enterprise.

You will own the system from foundations to agent orchestration, partnering with design directors and engineers to ensure quality, scalability, and self‑serve capabilities for many internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in creative technology, design engineering, UX, or related craft‑and‑code roles
• Strong design sense with ability to set and maintain visual/interaction quality
• Proven experience building and scaling design systems as coded infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead hands‑on creation of AI‑native design system end‑to‑end from foundations to scalable contribution model
• Deliver high production‑quality, accessible code for multiple teams
• Design and ship AI agents and automations to make the system generative, self‑serve, and self‑improving
• Establish middle‑layer connections, APIs, and tooling linking the design system to products and workflows
• Set creative engineering and design bar for system quality, architecture, and performance
• Integrate AI into daily workflows to accelerate delivery without sacrificing craft
• Build coded prototypes and explorations to validate ideas before shipping
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to embed the design system into leadership tools
• Serve as a hands‑on technical authority translating complex problems into scalable systems
• Partner with Design Director to push team craft and pace to high impact
