Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Machine Learning team in the Wealth Management Strategy & Analytics division is seeking a data scientist to design, develop and deliver end-to-end ML solutions aimed at strategic business opportunities across client advisory and product strategy.

The role emphasizes modeling, scaling, experimentation, and collaboration with MLOps, risk, marketing and technology to drive measurable outcomes for 20M+ WM clients. Strong background in ML methods and production deployment is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in an analytical or technical field.
• 8+ years of professional data science or ML experience.
• Experience deploying ML projects in production or production‑like environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ML solutions for Wealth Management with measurable business outcomes.
• Develop ML modeling and algorithms for client and product strategy.
• Deploy models in production with MLOps collaboration and monitor performance.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices.
