Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Data Scientist Vice President within the Compliance, Conduct Operational Risk Data Analytics group. You will develop proofs of concept and deployable models using AI/ML, extract large datasets, and transform them into analysis-ready formats for pipelines.

You will lead methodologies and quantitative tasks from business problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare documentation for model risk governance.

Qualifications

• Proven theoretical and applied knowledge of ML methods and statistical models.
• Hands-on experience with Python, R or Scala and data science toolkits.
• Familiarity with Graph learning packages and ML/AI workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex/unstructured data to understand business problems.
• Design and develop deployable models and analytical methods.
• Collaborate with data scientists, risk professionals and governance teams.
• Document quantitative models for internal model risk review.
