Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Applied AI/ML Data Scientist Lead-Vice President in the Corporate Technology division. You will study complex business problems and apply advanced algorithms to develop AI/ML applications or models for those problems.

You will work with PMs, data scientists, ML engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize use cases, and deliver GenAI/LLM solutions with production-ready models and insightful outputs for business audiences.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of experience or MS/BS with 4+ years of experience.
• Proficient with LLM projects and deploying AI/ML apps in production.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with R/Java is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize use cases.
• Develop GenAI and LLM solutions to solve business problems.
• Tune generative models for specific use cases and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Lead data wrangling/analysis, model training, testing, and selection processes.
• Generate structured insights and present results tailored to the audience.
