JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Data Strategist Lead in Principal Investment Risk Management to define and execute the risk data strategy and governance. You will lead AI/ML delivery, including generative AI and agentic workflows, to improve risk oversight, analytics, metrics, and reporting across the principal investment process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, risk management/analytics, data science, or related domain
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills for time-sensitive environments
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau or similar BI tools
• Ability to define requirements and drive cross-functional approvals
• Commitment to data quality and governance in risk data workflows

Responsibilities

• Own Principal Risk’s data foundations: sourcing, metadata, lineage, lifecycle controls
• Define and evolve data governance standards and self-service documentation
• Deliver risk data products supporting operations, analytics, metrics, and reporting
• Define KPIs for data quality, timeliness, completeness, lineage, and control adherence
• Design AI/ML solutions (generative AI, agentic workflows, traditional ML) for risk analytics
• Implement LLM agents and multi-agent systems with planning and human-in-the-loop escalation
• Translate business needs into designs, acceptance criteria, and execution plans
• Lead end-to-end delivery from requirements to production and adoption
• Build verification/validation mechanisms for outputs
• Operate production solutions with monitoring, performance, and drift management
• Collaborate with tech teams to document data sources and flows for analytics
