Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Technology Operational Risk Vice President within Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk Technology & Cyber. This role leads oversight of AI/ML programs, evaluates technology and cybersecurity practices, and partners with technology and risk stakeholders to strengthen controls and reduce disruption risk.

You will drive resilient adoption of AI/ML, oversee risk across large, complex programs, and provide credible challenge to risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a technology role.
• Strong background in AI and machine learning and the technology used to build AI and machine learning solutions.
• Strong understanding of technology and cyber assessment practices for technology systems.
• Strong understanding of the technology and cyber threat landscape for AI and machine learning and associated mitigations.
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational risk for the engineering organization developing platforms for AI and machine learning and data serving.
• Lead thematic analysis of existing risks and internal and external events related to AI and machine learning.
• Challenge first-line technology and cyber risk mitigation strategies and execution for AI and machine learning use cases.
• Assess operational and cyber risk of AI and machine learning use for technology and cybersecurity purposes.
• Collaborate with operational risk officers across corporate functions to align on AI and machine learning risk oversight activities.
