New York Life seeks a Senior AI Governance & Platform Operations Engineer to lead the enablement, governance, and day‑to‑day operationalization of Copilot and Power Platform AI across the enterprise M365 ecosystem.

You will partner across Legal, Risk, Information Security, Procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, governed, and scalable deployment. This role focuses on platform operations and governance rather than model development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Microsoft 365 engineering, administration, or platform operations.
• 3+ years deploying, governing, or enabling Microsoft Copilot at scale.
• Demonstrated experience managing Power Platform licensing and AI Builder / Copilot Credit governance across environments.
• Track record of leading AI vendor risk reviews and navigating enterprise risk processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Copilot across Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and other M365 apps.
• Manage tenant‑level Copilot controls including branding and admin surface configurations.
• Run Copilot pilots to evaluate features and report adoption metrics to leadership.
• Govern Power Platform licensing, AI Builder credits, and Copilot Credit model transitions.
• Coordinate AI risk reviews with Legal, Risk, and Information Security teams.
• Serve as liaison with Microsoft FastTrack, Unified Support, and product engineering teams.
• Deploy and govern AI features across SharePoint Online and OneDrive, including Copilot for SharePoint.
