Job summary

Morgan Stanley Fixed Income Secured Lending (FSL) seeks an exceptional AI Engineer - Agentic Solutions (Vice President) to shape and deliver AI-powered capabilities across one of the firm’s fastest-growing lending businesses.

You will lead the full lifecycle of AI innovation, collaborating with business leaders, strategists, and technology teams to convert complex lending workflows into scalable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering and system design experience.
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML applications leveraging LLMs.
• Experience with MCP, tool-calling frameworks, and advanced agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade agentic AI applications to automate and enhance front-office lending workflows.
• Build solutions leveraging: LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, MCP, Text-to-SQL architectures, agent orchestration frameworks, multi-agent systems and workflow automation.
• Develop scalable Python-based AI services and APIs for enterprise deployment.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases.
• Integrate AI solutions with internal data platforms, research systems, analytics tools, and lending applications.
• Establish best practices for evaluation, monitoring, governance, and responsible AI deployment.
• Participate in SPG and Firmwide AI Challenge Labs, helping shape Morgan Stanley's broader AI strategy and innovation agenda.
