Job summary

Altasciences in Cypress, CA is seeking a Vice President, Digital Platforms, Data & Transformation to build modern data foundations and scale AI initiatives within a regulated life sciences environment. You will lead architecture, pipelines, and governance to enable trusted insights across sites and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles in tech/domain.
• 10+ years leading multi-disciplinary technology teams.
• Strong communication and executive presence.
• Experience with data platforms, AI, and MLOps concepts.
• Exposure to regulated/quality-constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture and infrastructure across sites.
• Drive data strategy including quality, standards, and secure access.
• Stand up platforms and controls to deploy AI and analytics into production.
• Partner with Security, Validation, Quality and Compliance to meet regulatory expectations.
• Build and manage a high-performing data science/analytics team.
• Lead governance and policy development for responsible AI use.
• Oversee risk management for digital initiatives and vendor relationships.
• Lead cross-functional squads to deliver high-value AI use cases.
