Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Vice President of Apps to lead a global software organization responsible for the design, development, and operations of customer-facing HP applications and AI-enabled platforms.

The role emphasizes AI-native software development, platform engineering, and enterprise-scale delivery while collaborating with C-level stakeholders to shape HP's software strategy and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of software engineering experience, incl. 8+ years in senior people management.
• Proven ability to deliver business value through engineering excellence and execution speed.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and AI-native SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of software engineers and leaders to deliver HP applications and AI-enabled platforms.
• Drive an AI-native paradigm across the software lifecycle, integrating AI agents in design, testing, and deployment.
• Champion platform engineering and consumer-grade developer experience across CI/CD, containers, and data services.
• Partner with product and technology stakeholders to deliver features, maintain reliability, and ensure security compliance.
