Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Senior Software Engineer to help develop software platforms across client apps, backend services, cloud integrations, and device interfaces. You will work in a startup-like incubation within HP’s PC Design team, delivering scalable production-quality software and edge AI features.

Ideal candidates will have shipped products at scale, contributed to open-source projects, and demonstrated strong problem-solving in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4-8 years of full-stack software development experience across frontend, backend, and application-level development.
• Hands-on experience building, fine-tuning, or deploying machine learning models in production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software features across frontend applications, backend services, local components, and cloud-connected workflows AI-enabled platform capabilities.
• Integrate, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models including LLMs and vision models into production software.
• Fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models for product-specific use cases and define datasets and metrics to measure improvement.
• Design agentic and retrieval-augmented workflows that combine LLMs, tools, and enterprise data sources.
